Wouldn't this casual dress be cute over pants? I saw it and really liked it, but I don't know if it would be long enough..it's only 17" from the natural waist, and I'm not sure if that would reach below the knees or not...I should check it out..by the way, it's from Victoria's Secret...and it costs $58..lol..better wait till it goes on sale !!

I went through a period of time where I would spend hours on the internet looking for a website that sold appropriately-priced jilbabs. Most of the jilbabs displayed on the websites were at least $70.00 ...I thought, noooo waaayyyy....Alhumdulilah, in the end, I received a gift from a family friend of, yep you guessed it, a jilbab. What a coincidence, you might be thinking, but it's true. After that, I gave up searching the net for jilbabs that I could actually afford, but I found this website that is worth mentioning.

Shukr Online.....a whole line of Islamic clothes that are both 'fashionable' and 'Islamic'. I am not going to attempt to explain what the words 'fashionable' and 'Islamic' mean, since they mean different things to different people. However, what I will do is post the website link. Check it out, they have some nice stuff, though as usual, quite pricey.
